SENIOR PERSONNEL
Chris Palmer has been involved in corporate and private dispute resolution for more than 30 years. Chris spent his formative years with the internationally renowned Sedgwick (Marsh) Insurance Group leading to his appointment as a senior internal and external troubleshooter. This role involved travel to all parts of the world in order to resolve a wide range of problems by commercial negotiation or by providing practical solutions
He established his own management consultancy practice more than 20 years ago and was admitted as a member of the Institute of Management Consultants in 1994. His firm has provided problem solving services to all types of organisations ranging from small local firms to major international corporations.
Chris has gained significant knowledge of workplace conflict and employment disputes and in 1994 he was admitted as an Associate member of the Institute of Personnel and Development.
Through his private practice, Chris has equally gained considerable experience of divorce settlement, custody and contact conflicts, property and lease disputes and all types of problems which may affect a small local business.
Michelle Palmer originally trained as a teacher, working predominantly in special needs education. She has held a number of management positions including that of Teacher Governor. Michelle continues to be partly involved in education as a Learning Support Consultant.
Michelle has also managed her own small businesses and through her role in her husband’s management consultancy and mediation practice, has acquired extensive knowledge of problems affecting both small and large businesses.
Michelle also has practical experience as both a mother and step-mother of problems which can arise in any family especially an extended family. Michelle equally possesses a good understanding of divorce settlement, custody and contact conflicts as well as other types of conflict which can occur within the family.
Michelle has attended court appointed mediation, ADR and participated on case review panels with representatives from local authorities, social services and the police.
